Ministry in action. During the street evangelism the mission team would split into three seperate groups. Some would make contact through face painting and balloons while others labored with the missionary as he preached on the street using art. This group conducted surveys which brought great conversation. It was through the survey approach that 4 people made professions of faith. Praise the Lord!

Let me introduce you to a dear friend we grew to love. He is a genuine brother who loves to let everyone know he loves Jesus. I hope we can see him again soon.

The teens visited both 6th Ave. and Mt. Calvary Baptist Churches on the two Sunday they were in New York. They attended 4 services each of those Sundays. None of them had ever been to that many services in one day. We all had a new found respect for Pastor Johnson and his family as he preached at each service and Leah his daughter played the piano at each.

Here are the teens worshipping in song with the congregation.

Hey this is Joshua Scott telling how I got those two men saved on Monday. The very first was roman catholic, and the second a baptist. I used the same method for both of them; I used the Romans road. As I would go through the verses explaining them I would ask them if they understood the verse and believed it in their heart. Each time they did. After I showed them in the bible I asked them some Questions and asked them if they believed it. They did so I asked them if they wanted to be saved which they did. Finally I prayed with them to ask Jesus to cleanse their heart of their sins. And that's all there is to it.

The kids went to Time Square. Of all the things you can go see, they went to see the toy store. Go figure!

Time Square

Here we are in Time square rubbing shoulders with the rest of world. It is possible to hear 150 different languages while walking through.

The lights are amazing and the scene of thousands of people leave you in awe but the world sure is empty. Talking about an education! TMI everywhere.

Good Evening everyone. It is 11:35pm on the night before we leave for our Missions Trip. I realize there is only 5 1/2 hours before we are up dressing for the trip. Hard to believe it is here. Seemed so far away when the plans were first made. I am excited for our group to serve God on the field. We are going to experience our Lord's sufficiency in new ways. 31 missionaries are headed out trusting God will deliver us across this sea of uncertainty stretched out before us. We have questions such as, What will we do?, What if I don't know what to say?, Am I able to do this? Just as God went before the Israelites in the wilderness, He will go before us and show himself mighty towards us. Please pray for us as we go. May Christ be glorified in all we do. We love you all. May God be gracious to each one. God Bless
